Chris McMahon, CEO of ACD, had his humble beginnings in the concrete industry in the 80’s. Although working predominately on commercial, structural concrete in the East, an assignment in San Francisco introduced him for the first time to architectural concrete. It quickly became his passion and the focus of his life’s work. In 1993, he incorporated and began the journey which has led to Architectural Concrete Design.

Over the last decade, the company quickly evolved from its original three man crew. The firm has grown into a group of over 35 specialists including craftsmen, designers, customer service and management staff.
